As we enter into a new yet familiar moment in history, the opportunity to express ourselves loud and proud is wildly encouraged. Be it through activism, the power of effectively using your voice, or my personal favorite outlet, FASHION! Thanks to all the newly fem-vertized fashion brands we can literally do all three at the same damn time… Say whaaaaaaat?!?
That’s right! So many brands have been poppin out of the woodwork to inspire/promote the empowerment and unification of women through fashion. Of course, not every feminist brand was created equally and many use this “fem-vertising” trend only as a means for cash cropping; these ones ya gotta watch out for. However, tons of brands are not only made by women, but also give so much back TO women and human rights organizations! These the ones we wanna patronize! Proceeds made by several of these women’s brands gets donated back into communities/organizations so they can keep sustaining and fighting the good fight.
Here is a list of completely fem-tastic brands as well as some of the causes they each donate to, and are guaranteed to make ya look real good aaannd, feel real good; internally and externally.
And here’s to progress, human rights, Love and abundance of all three! Hearts open, fists up!
