SFW Day Two

With day one being a great success *Borat voice*, needless to say I was definitely looking forward to day two!  This time I came right around 7pm when the show was expected to start, knowing that it’s still LA and although it was a Friday night… we’re still majority on CPT. Given the impressive amount of audience attendees whom were very engaging and the available refreshments/photo opp moments, there were definitely ways to make the time go by… Nothin’ll put ya in some good spirits like some good spirits!!! (AKA alcohol)

Day two kicked open with Nikki Lund starting the first show featuring their SS17 collection which was like a bohemian, rocker chic hybrid. Emphasis on bohemian. The thing that I loved most about this show was that it featured one fabulous male model (far right) rocking a women’s collection… YAS! Hello gender fluidity! This cutie pie came down the runway so sassy, he was so spectacular and he knew it! You go baby boiii!

Following up the rest of the night were majority Evening wear designers, with the exception of some of Mario De La Torre (who I loved) and David Topaz (who was so much fun) both of which had a few more potentially casual Spring looks to offer. Los Angeles features a lot of Evening/Formal wear dress, which makes sense given this is the mecca for so many award shows and black/white tie events. Whether it’s modern glam you love or you fancy a taste for some 16th century renaissance influence, there was an eclectic variety to connect with. That’s a wrap for day two y’all!

Check out the pics below of some of my favorite looks/less shitty iPhone photos from the designers and get some feels!
