Last but not least, we have arrived to day four; the final day for SFW… wah wah waaaahhh. It’s been full of excitement, highs, lows, laughter, tears, slayage, group sing-a-longs and even a breakout brawl in the audience! Seriously a brawl! On the very last day, the day of le gays, of course…. it’s been real. Just to show us how much we’re appreciated the show producers hired amazing Drag Queens and the cast of Magic Mike to come and give us all a show! Laaaddiieesss…. (and gentleman)

SFW Day Three
Yoooo, day three was lit y’all! There were live performances, interesting runway concepts, and I’m pretty sure I saw my unborn daughter/best friend get married… and by that I mean a complete stranger but the emotions were as if I KNEW THIS GIRL! In other words, it was pretty great. Let me explain…
SFW Day Two
With day one being a great success *Borat voice*, needless to say I was definitely looking forward to day two! This time I came right around 7pm when the show was expected to start, knowing that it’s still LA and although it was a Friday night… we’re still majority on CPT. Given the impressive amount of audience attendees whom were very engaging and the available refreshments/photo opp moments, there were definitely ways to make the time go by… Nothin’ll put ya in some good spirits like some good spirits!!! (AKA alcohol)
SFW Day One, A1
T’was a cool Fall night in West Hollywood, not too hot and not too cold… unless you count the hot ass models serving cold as ice looks down the runway. Oowwww! Style Fashion Week is upon us in Los Angeles! After the international shows have came and went, the West Coast scene is taking the stage showcasing some of the best in the west; so far so fierce!
BGB+LAFW=❤️
Wassuuup all you rays of sunshine!!! It brings me great joy to tell you that Black Girl Blog will be covering Style Fashion Week Los Angeles! YAAAAAS! I’m actually a lil late in announcing this to ya’ll cause thangs have been LIT I’m telling you (again, my b) but remember when I said I would be making it up to ya? I am a woman of my word; it is coming!
Magic Crush Monday
Awww shoot you THOUGHT I was jumping on that “man crush Monday” bandwagon! Gotcha! Did I getcha? Anyways, not quite man crushing but magic crushing! And this one goes out to none other than the lovely Mrs. Solange Knowles whose expression of flawless personal style is beyond words… So here are some photos!
BGB goes Live!
I was recently introduced to a newer startup of a live streaming website called Sonic Box catered to independent LA based artists (mostly musicians) to connect with people all over the world, spread self-awareness, inspire and relate to other fellow creatives/enthusiasts. Automatically I fell in love with the idea and the people involved, not to mention it is paaaiidd? Umm, YAS!
It was all a dream…Outfit
I don’t know about you guys, but I’m a pretty big window shopper… if you aren’t into being slightly tortured it may not be for you; but it’s a great way to get a fashion fire burning in your heart/mind/under dat ass. After brunch with my girls yesterday we popped over to Opening Ceremony for some visual dessert and a little inspiration! Well it was my visual dessert, the girls had some delicious looking cheesecake that I low-key salivated over (I’m vegan) but it’s all good cause fashion satisfies my cravings more than any scrumptious bite ever could! *cries one single tear*
All Hail McQueen!
It’s always been my preference to create my own path and not try to fit any particular mold, especially in the area of my creativity. While I’ve always had my admirations in favors of certain designers/creative’s I’ve really never been one of those people who’ve wanted to I guess “follow in the footsteps” or purposefully recreate similar situations in my own career path or ways that I proceed. I’m very independent and rebellious in that sense…. And let’s be perfectly honest, I can be a lil ig’nant.
Afropunk Festival 2016
What do you call a heard of unicorns? A blessing. Over this past weekend was the 12th annual Afropunk Music Festival in Brooklyn New York where the gathering of unicorns blessed us all with their presence. Remember that time I asked where my non-conforming fashionably fearless ass people at? They were at Afropunk Festival, representin’ and holdin’ it down. The fashion! Ohh the fashion!
